Order directly whenever possible
Pickup orders should always use Fire Engine’s direct SpotOn checkout. Delivery can use the same restaurant-owned checkout with a third-party driver network handling fulfillment, while marketplace apps remain secondary options.
Choose a location, then place every pickup order through Fire Engine’s SpotOn checkout. Eligible delivery orders can stay in the same direct checkout while DoorDash Drive supplies the driver.
SpotOn pickup and direct-delivery links added after testingUse DoorDash Drive behind Fire Engine’s direct checkout for flat-rate delivery. Keep the DoorDash marketplace listing as an additional discovery channel.
Confirm Drive availability, delivery radius and fee settingsKeep Uber Eats available for customers who prefer the marketplace. A restaurant-owned checkout fulfilled by Uber would require Uber Direct and written confirmation that it works with Fire Engine’s SpotOn setup.
Marketplace link pending; direct fulfillment requires confirmationThe existing website currently links Milford ordering to Grubhub. Each location should be mapped and tested before the new links go live.
Confirm all three location connectionsBefore launch: make SpotOn the primary pickup and direct-delivery checkout, confirm DoorDash Drive settings with the SpotOn representative, map every marketplace listing to the correct restaurant, and test prices, modifiers, taxes, delivery fees, order throttling and sold-out items through the kitchen.
